Can I cancel or change my bid?
No, once a bid is Active or In-Range, it cannot be canceled or changed due to how the continuous clearing auction mechanism is designed. You will be able to exit your bid either at the end of the auction or when and if your bid falls below the current clearing price.
When can I claim my tokens?
You can claim your tokens only after the auction has ended.
How do I reclaim funds if my bid is unsuccessful or only partially filled?
If your transaction fails, your funds will remain in your wallet — no further action is required.
If your bid is submitted successfully but is not filled or only partially filled, you’ll need to manually withdraw the unfilled portion to reclaim your remaining funds.
You can do this from the “My Bids” section of the auction dashboard.
Is the onchain auction safe to use?
The smart contract supporting the auction has undergone multiple audits by reputable audit firms. However, there is no way to fully eliminate smart contract risk.
How do I know the auction is not being manipulated?
The auction is taking place on Ethereum mainnet, and all bids are available for everyone to read / view.
Is my bid amount tied to what I have in my wallet at the time? Can I transfer more ETH to my wallet address to place more bids?
Yes. You cannot place a bid larger than the amount of ETH currently available in your wallet. You can always add more ETH to the same address that minted the identity verification NFT and place another bid at any time, as long as the auction is still open.
Do I pay gas when I place a bid or if my bid is successful?
You’ll need to pay gas twice during the auction:
When placing your bid - to submit the transaction on-chain.
When claiming your tokens or withdrawing unfilled funds once the auction concludes.
What is the maximum amount of tokens I can purchase?
Participants may purchase up to 10,000,000 tokens each.
What is the supply schedule for the auction?
The supply schedule refers to the amount of Aztec tokens available for sale at each given block during the time the auction is running.
How do I know which track I belong to?
You will need to connect your wallet to the sale website and it will confirm what track your account is eligible for.
Ensure the correct wallet is connected and that you’ve been assigned to the right participant track before completing identity verification and minting your NFT. You may need to check more than one wallet address.
Who should I contact if I believe I’m whitelisted, but don’t see the option?
First, please take the following steps:
Verify all wallet addresses – Make sure you’ve connected the correct wallet.
For the Genesis Sequencer Sale (Fixed Auction): Use the wallet address you previously shared with the Aztec team.
For the Contributor Track: Connect to the website with the wallet that you used for Aztec testnet participation, Aztec Connect / zkMoney, Ethereum solo staking, or other relevant onchain activity that qualified you for the whitelist.
Make sure to check all wallet addresses. If your wallet is not on the whitelist, you’ll need to participate in the general sale. You cannot be added to the whitelist.
What happens if I access the site from a prohibited location or use a high-risk VPN?
If you attempt to access the site from a restricted IP address, region, or country, or while using a high-risk VPN, you’ll see a message indicating that the website is not accessible from your current location or jurisdiction.
How do I know my transaction went through?
You should be able to see the status of your transaction on etherscan.io
Genesis Sale Participants: Head on over to the Staking Dashboard website and connect your beneficiary account to confirm you have received a Token Vault. You will receive your Token Vault immediately after your transaction concludes.
Auction Participants: You should see a bid under “My Bids” that is labelled “Active” or “In-Range”. You will be able to claim your Token Vault after the conclusion of the auction.
Why do you need my email address?
We will need an email address to be able to keep you updated on when the auction starts and to give you a reminder.
If you use Predicate for Identity Verification they will collect your email address to confirm when your identity verification is complete or if they need any further information to complete the check.
The Ticket form will collect an email address so the Aztec Team can respond to your support request.
Do I get email confirmation of my purchase?
If you provide your email address, you can be alerted once the auction has started / concluded.
