If you can access the identity verification flow but are getting stuck at a step in the process, we recommend restarting from the beginning to see if you get stuck in the same place.

Identity verification is taking more than 10 minutes
Your are typically verified instantly. If it's taking longer than 10 minutes, your case likely requires manual review.
Check your email for updates, as you'll be notified when your verification is approved, rejected, or needs additional information.
My passports expired, can I still participate?
In order to complete the identity verification process, you need a valid ID. This can be a passport, but it can also be a driver's license or national ID card depending on your country of residence.
What if I am participating on behalf of a company?
At the identity verification screen, proceed to the tab for entities. This identity verification flow will take you through a KYB process, which is designed for entities.
What documents do I need to submit if I am a business?
Businesses don't submit any files unless they fail the registry check
If you fail the registry check, you will receive an email with the following instructions:
To complete the review and proceed with your onboarding, please respond to this email with one of the following forms of documentation confirming your business registration details:
Accepted documentation:
Certificate of Incorporation or Business Registration
Business License issued by a government authority
Registry Extract or equivalent official record confirming business status
Please ensure the document includes:
The legal business name
The registered business address
The business identification number (e.g., EIN, registration number, or equivalent)

Face verification is failing, what do I do?
If you are attempting face verification using a computer webcam, switch to a mobile phone instead.
If face verification is still failing on the mobile phone, reach out to the Aztec support team by submitting a support ticket.
There are two points when a user can switch to mobile:
At the beginning of the flow where the QR code is displayed; or
At the face screen stage, there is a button that allows the user to switch to mobile.
Can I use a desktop instead of a mobile for Predicate?
Yes, you can use either Desktop or Mobile.

What is considered proof of address?
Most verifications do not require proof of address. However, you may need a proof of address in circumstances where a manual review is necessary.
