Determine Eligibility
Start by visiting the official Ignition Sale landing page at sale.aztec.network. From here, you’ll connect your Ethereum wallet and begin the registration process. By connecting, the site will automatically determine which sale track you’re eligible for based on your wallet’s whitelist status.
There are three types of participants:
1 - Genesis Sequencers
A select group of whitelisted node operators who demonstrated exceptional performance in the Aztec Adversarial Testnet.
Genesis Sequencers are the only group eligible for the Fixed Price Sale.
May also pre-bid in the auction before it officially opens on 2 December 2025
2 - Contributors
A broader group of whitelisted participants who meet one or more of the following criteria:
Sequencers and provers who participated in Aztec testnet
ETH solo stakers including select StakeCat ETH operators, Obol Silver, Rocketpool, LidoCSM, and Stakers Union.
zk.money users
Engaged community members
Uniswap traders (3k randomly selected from active traders in the last 30 days).
Nansen Ice, North, and Star tiers.
Like Genesis Sequencers, the Contributors can pre-bid in the auction before it officially opens on 2 December 2025
3 - Public
Any wallet not whitelisted as a Genesis Sequencer or Contributor falls into this category.
These participants can only place bids in the auction once it officially starts on 2 December 2025
Mint your access NFT
The NFT acts as proof of identity verification and your ticket to participate. Every participant in the Aztec token sale must complete a sanction check and mint the NFT in order to purchase Aztec tokens.
Step 1 - Select a tile from the Grid
After confirming your track, you’ll be presented with a grid of tiles. Each participant must select one unique tile to proceed.
Each tile is unique and permanently associated with your transaction.
Once all tiles in the grid are taken, a new grid with new tiles will appear for the next set of users.
Each user may mint only one tile.
Step 2 - Complete Identity Verification
Once you select a tile, you’ll be prompted to complete identity verification. This ensures compliance with international regulations.
Aztec supports two verification providers:
A private, client-side verification system that proves you’re not a sanctioned individual without revealing your identity. To use ZKPassport, you must hold a supported biometric ID such as a passport or a driver’s license.

Built using Noir and Barretenberg, which were developed by the Aztec team.
Recommended for individuals with zkPassport-compatible IDs.
For participants who can’t use zkPassport or are registering on behalf of an entity.
Predicate performs verification using SumSub, a trusted third-party KYC provider.
Supports both individual and KYB (Know Your Business) checks.
After successful verification via either zkPassport or Predicate, you’ll be able to mint a non-transferable NFT that grants your Ethereum account access to the sale and/or auction.
Step 3 - Mint Your Access NFT
Minting your NFT is the final step before gaining access to the sale.
Only the NFT-holding address can interact with the sale contracts.
Ensure your wallet has enough ETH to pay for the minting transaction and any subsequent token purchases.
Upon successful identity verification using either of the above providers, you will be redirected back to the grid.
If your chosen tile is still available, you’ll proceed directly to the NFT minting step.
If your tile was taken during verification, you’ll need to select a new tile before continuing.
⚠️ Genesis Sequencers mint the NFT and purchase their fixed lot of tokens in the same transaction.
Participate in the Sale
Once your NFT is minted, you’re officially registered and can now participate in the auction.
Genesis Sequencers: Can immediately start bidding in the auction before it officially opens on 2 December 2025
Contributors: Can immediately start bidding in the auction before it officially opens on 2 December 2025
Public: Can participate in the Auction starting from 2 December 2025.
